Tiramisu

Tiramisu
Today, Tiramisù is the world’s most famous dessert, considered a modern dessert par excellence. The word Tiramisù means “pick me up.” It comes from the Treviso dialect, “Tireme su,” which was Italianised in Tiramisù in the latter half of the 20th century. Historical records state that Tiramisù originated in Treviso in 1800. It is said that this dessert was invented by a clever “maitresse” of a house of pleasure in the center of Treviso. Let’s pay a visit with Chocolate! Thank you Accademia del Tiramisù.
My Tiramisu is a blend of white and dark chocolate. As you can see in the photo, I sprinkle a white chocolate base with dark chocolate nuggets.
